Tracewell Gordon

Trace gordon

Chief Executive Officer

Trace is a highly successful serial entrepreneur and business consultant who began his professional career in accounting for a large firm in Los Angeles. From there, Trace attended graduate school in Washington DC, where he studied Business Analytics and Corporate Law at the Catholic University of America. He since studied at Harvard Business School, completing Executive Education programs in Strategy and Management.

While studying in DC, Trace founded, grew, and sold his first startup. He has since founded and consulted for countless other businesses, consistently playing instrumental roles in their successful growth. At TruLata, Trace utilizes his breadth of knowledge and experience to dramatically improve operational and marketing processes, helping clients drive sales and increase online visibility through cutting edge technologies and innovative solutions.

Trace has a beautiful wife and two kids. Fun fact, TruLata is actually a combination of his family’s names (Trace, Agata, Luka, and Adeline)! He’s lived in Oklahoma City, Missouri, the UK, Los Angeles, Germany, Dallas, Chicago, and Washington DC. 

If you’re ever on a video call with him, you’ll see his awesome guitar collection. If you’re nice, he might even show his colorful collection of running shoes.

Chief Creative Officer
Nic is a graphic designer and content creator with over thirteen years of experience working in marketing and outreach. They earned a BFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of North Texas in 2010. They specialize in logo design, web design, e-mail marketing, blog writing, and social media management. Nic started their professional career at their alma mater, coordinating outreach programs at the UNT Office of Sustainability. They worked for over five years as the Office’s event planner, website developer, volunteer coordinator, internship mentor, and graphic designer. 
New opportunities then took Nic to the private sector, working as a graphic designer for Graphic Solutions Group (GSG), a prominent print industry distributor based in Dallas, TX. In their role, Nic managed GSG’s social media profiles, wrote industry blogs and press releases, and honed their skills in design for print and the web.
In their spare time, Nic loves to read books, hike a mountain trail, or play the Ukulele for their cat Squints. 

Haley whittington

Director of Digital Media Strategy

Haley Whittington is TruLata’s Director of Digital Media Strategy. You know, the one with the brightest of hair colors. She has over 7 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and community building with her roots starting as a video game livestreamer on Twitch.

She advises clients on their social media presence, web and graphic design, video production, influencer relations, and content creation and helps strategize to produce the best results. She also assists with editing, social media calendars, and community building. She truly excels when given creative freedom to bring her humor and bright personality into her work.

Jeffrey Perry

director of Business development & project manager

An Oklahoma City native, Jeff graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. At TruLata, Jeff brings elite customer service above all else. “Sales, client relations and referrals all fall in line when customer service is the main focus.” He has been called a Positivity Monster for his undying effort in this pursuit.  

After college he worked in finance and started a family in Denver, Colorado with his wife Meghan. They have two beautiful daughters, Jane and Riley. Now residing back in OKC, he lives in the beautiful arts district of Paseo. His true passion (outside of customer service) is running, logging 25+ miles a week! 

Joshua chaffee

content development director

Joshua is an accomplished SEO specialist and passionate writer originally from Seattle, WA. With over 9 years of experience in the field, he excels in optimizing search engine performance.

Currently residing in the Caribbean for the past 5 years, Joshua’s love for travel and exploration has shaped his global perspective. Together with his wife Tatyana, they embark on shared adventures and discover inspiration in the region’s rich culture and around the world. When not crafting captivating content, Joshua won’t seem to stop buying new fish and building fishtanks to fuel his addiction to fishkeeping.

Jaime De La Cruz

Director of Sales

Jaime’s responsibilities include fulfilling our clients marketing needs, project management, and overseeing visual assets and content writing. Jaime is excited to use his 20 years of sales, management, marketing and branding experience to contribute to the success of our clients.

As a creative he also used his skill set to create Corsa Pro Coffee. As the founder he’s taken great personal interest in branding and product development. He’s also adept in product manufacturing, distribution, account management, B2B and direct to consumer sales.

Paul Chandy

SEO and PAID ad Manager

Say hello to Paul Chandy. Paul has 15 years of experience as an SEO optimizer and paid ad manager. He has incredible attention to detail and makes sure TruLata maximizes every cent and word while keeping us (and our clients) up to date with all things Google!

A gospel lover and a foodie with a big heart and an infectious sense of humor! His love for food, especially good authentic Indian cuisine, is only matched by his passion for Jesus. When he’s not cracking jokes and making people smile, he’s spending quality time with his kids – the joy of his life.

Aaron Mete

As one of TruLata’s website developers, Aaron harnesses his tech expertise to create online solutions for business efficiencies and growth. With decades of coding experience in HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript, Aaron turns clients’ unique desires into impressive websites.

18 years of experience has made Aaron a troubleshooting expert, and he’s been crafting code and bringing our clients’ vision to life since 2021. Fueled by medium roasted coffee beans and sunshine, when Aaron isn’t building websites he’s playing guitar or flying planes.

After originally studying MicroComputer Technology in 1997, when the internet was in its infancy, he then went on to complete a Bachelor in Aviation Technology. He now travels the world as a web developer and an airline pilot.

Farhad Shaon

Farhad joined TruLata in 2021. He is a skilled UI/UX designer with 5 years of experience in the field. He earned a degree in business administration with a major in marketing, making him an asset to the TruLata team. Clients enjoy his friendly and collaborative approach, attention to detail, and the way he takes ownership of projects.

In his free time, Farhad is a bit of a cinephile. He loves watching classic movies. He is currently living in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Vered Kleinberger

Content Creator

Vered thrives on learning new things and helping people. She began her career in graphic design out of necessity; she started a non-profit organization that needed a website so she taught herself html and Photoshop. Her studies in Cultural Anthropology and her passion for art and drawing were the perfect foundation for her future in marketing and design.

Vered quickly expanded her skills since she’s stubborn and wants to learn how to do everything herself. As a result, after almost 20 years of creating, collaborating, and learning, she is an expert in photo editing, vector illustration, graphic design, website creation, print layouts, content editing, and more.

When she’s not on the computer, she’s probably walking her pups or playing in the dirt. She is slightly obsessed with growing food, natives, and other beneficial plants, so while she’ll never profess to being a professional gardener, she describes herself as someone who’s just played with plants her entire life.

Shania freel

Web designer

Shania designs modern business and eCommerce websites. Her strengths include creativity, positive communication, attention to detail, and patience for sticking with even the most monotonous and fiddly of tasks. She aims to work efficiently without compromising on quality or human relations. Beyond web design, Shania has a handful of other marketing skills, including graphic design, content writing, SEO, and project management. These skills combine to help her understand how to design more engaging, higher traffic websites. 

Originally from Washington State, Shania attended Peninsula College where she received AA degrees in both Web Design and Graphic Design. She has worked with several marketing companies, learning new skills and tools along the way. She specializes in the Elementor plugin for WordPress, building dynamic, intuitive websites. 

Outside of work, Shania enjoys learning new languages, thrifting, weaving, drinking coffee and tea, baking, reading, and traveling with her husband.
